Lane Cohee serves as a project/program management subject matter expert and business professor, with over 20 years of experience in business/academic leadership, project/program management, systems engineering, and academic instruction. He teaches, trains and consults in the fields of project management, organizational dynamics, business strategy, and operations/supply chain management.

Lane served as Associate Professor of Management at Palm Beach Atlantic University (PBA) from 2017-2024, following a career in the defense and aerospace industry. From 2020-2023, he served as Associate Dean and MBA Chair for PBA’s Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business, successfully leading the school’s AACSB initial accreditation initiative; an accreditation achieved by only six percent of business schools internationally.

During his final six years in industry, Lane served as a program management executive at Harris Corporation. As general manager, he led a $175M per annum business unit, having responsibility for P&L, program/product management, strategic planning, business development, and client/supplier relations. In 2016-17, he also served as program management executive chair for a $2B business segment comprised of 200 program managers.

Lane joined Harris in 2004. Prior to transitioning to executive leadership, he held positions of increasing responsibility in systems engineering and project/program management. In these roles, he successfully led multiple large cross-functional teams, responsible for developing and producing space, airborne, and ground-based systems ranging from $30 to $130 million in value.

He also possesses experience as a systems engineer, integrated product team (IPT) leader, and product acquisition manager for Titan-LinCom Corporation and the US Air Force.

Lane holds a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, MBA from the University of Redlands, Master of Engineering (M. Eng) from the University of Colorado, and Doctorate in Business Administration (D.B.A) from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. He also holds PMI-PMP®, ACP® and RMP® professional certifications.
